Psychiatric Hospital in Clark County: Why Choose Us?

Spring Mountain is one of the longest-standing behavioral health hospitals in Las Vegas. For more than 20 years, we’ve helped people across southern Nevada treat psychiatric and behavioral issues that are disrupting their lives. We offer inpatient and outpatient services for adults (ages 18 and up) as well as children and adolescents (ages 5 to 17).

At our mental health treatment center, you’ll find:

  • 24/7 crisis services: We are always available to provide no-cost assessments and prompt admissions when you or a loved one is in crisis. We provide medically supervised psychiatric stabilization and detoxification to lay the groundwork for recovery.
  • Physician-led care: Our staff includes more than 15 board-certified psychiatrists. Doctors, registered nurses, licensed therapists and case managers work together to oversee your progress and meet your needs.
  • Transitional planning: Dedicated discharge planners and case managers help you transition back into your daily life after treatment. We make all necessary outpatient therapy referrals and connect you to services for housing, transportation and other resources as needed.
  • National accreditation: We consistently earn The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for meeting the highest standards of patient care and demonstrating excellent patient outcomes.
  • Regional referral center: Hospitals and emergency centers across southern Nevada trust Spring Mountain to provide acute mental health and substance use treatment. We facilitate seamless transitions to our facility so you can get the care you need quickly.

Behavioral Health Services for Older Adults

We offer inpatient care tailored to the unique needs of people 55 and older experiencing acute psychiatric or substance use issues. Our staff supports patients with complex medical needs and those who need help with activities of daily living. We specialize in treating depression, isolation, grief and other age-related challenges. Learn more about our behavioral health services for older adults at Spring Mountain Sahara.

Intensive Outpatient Care

Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) is designed for adults who are experiencing behavioral or emotional difficulties but do not require 24/7 inpatient psychiatric care. Many people transition, or “step down,” to our outpatient program after inpatient treatment for a mental health or co-occurring disorder.

Our outpatient services feature group therapy, flexible scheduling and hybrid (in-person and virtual) options. Patients return home each day and are free to attend to daily responsibilities as they recover. Learn more about our IOP for adults at Spring Mountain Sahara.
