Psychiatric Care for Complex Issues
The Advanced Adult Program at Spring Mountain Treatment Center helps adults with psychiatric issues that have hindered their capacity to meet important occupational, personal and interpersonal goals. Sadness, moodiness, anxiety and or irritability can be common experiences in the course of life. When these feelings being to impair a person’s ability to function normally at home, at work or in social situations, it may be a sign of a mental health disorder.
The Advanced Adult Program is available to treat adults with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance abuse disorders, personality disorders or trauma-related disorders. While it is an extension of our Adult Inpatient Program, the ultimate goal of this treatment track is to stabilize the immediate crisis and maximize the psychosocial capacity of the individual upon returning home. Interventions are designed to provide patients with practical tools to manage their symptoms and improve their coping abilities and interpersonal skills with family, friends and business relationships.
